One of the questions is How do I charge the i-MiEV?

There are three ways to charge the i-MiEV. The recommended way is with what is commonly referred to as a Level 2, 240 volt EVSE (which stands for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) residential charging dock, which is easy to have professionally installed. The second charging method is through a Level 1, 120 volt portable charging cable. Its use requires a dedicated 15 amp circuit. The third method is the DC (Direct Current) quick charge public charging station that takes advantage of i-MiEV's standard CHAdeMO connector port.
